We are located at the southeast corner of Wilshire and La Cienega Boulevards. Valet parking is available, although the Consulate does NOT validate the ticket. Street parking is generally available, though with some restrictions. Please scroll down to the end of this page for driving directions.


The Consulate General is open to the public from 9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday, except Holidays.

VISA SERVICES are available weekdays, except Holidays, from 9am to 12pm for applications, and from 2pm to 3pm for visa pick-up. ATTENTION: NO WALKIN INS for a visa, without an appointment;
The Consulate General of Brazil in Los Angeles does not process same day visas (no rush fee!). The processing time is up to 10 (ten) working days. Please plan accordingly!

The Consulate General in Los Angeles has responsibility over the States of Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, U.S. Minor Outlying Islands in the Pacific (Johnston, Midway, Wake, Howland, Jarvis, Baker, Palmyra and Kingman), and in the following counties in California: Imperial, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.

The Consulate is conveniently located in a central position in Los Angeles, and is easily accessible through the 10 Freeway.

From San Diego, or LAX:
Take the 405 North and then the 10 East. Exit La Cienega North and follow it until you reach Wilshire Blvd.

From Santa Barbara:
Take the 405 South and then the 10 East. Exit La Cienega North and follow it until you reach Wilshire Blvd.

From Pasadena/Glendale:
Take the 110 South and then the 10 West. Exit La Cienega North and follow it until you reach Wilshire Blvd.

From Burbank:
Take the 5 South to the 110 South and then the 10 West. Exit La Cienega North and follow it until you reach Wilshire Blvd.
